Wolfsklamm Gorge in Tyrol
This adventurous hike leads over steps, ridges and rocky canyons alongside impressive waterfalls, an experience that is sure to make the heart of every hiker skip a beat. The trail is easy to begin with - the real spectacle begins after around 20 minutes - when the water’s sheer power can experienced at a close, yet safe distance, on the way to an idyllic stream bed, where you can relax, play and have fun.

St. Georgenberg (monastery and tavern) is closed from 22nd of May 2018 until Easter 2019 because of renovations!

Wolfsklamm Gorge is open from 1st May to 31st October from 9.00 to 16.00 hrs.
Located in Stans in the Inntal Valley (around 30 km from Innsbruck), the gorge is an approx. 5-7 minute walk from the large, free car park in the centre of Stans. Stans os also easily accessible by train or bus.
After the 1.5 hour walk through the gorge, you will reach the tavern at Kloster St. Georgenberg. Alternative routes and ongoing hikes await along your return journey.
