Location, getting here & parking
Wolfsklamm Gorge is located in the heart of Tyrol in Stans in the Karwendel Silver Region, and can be easily accessed by car, train or bus
Travelling by car
Stans is accessible via the A12 motorway coming from Germany / Kufstein, as well as from Innsbruck, just take the exit for Schwaz. Or the motorway exit for Jenbach (only possible coming from the Innsbruck direction).
Stans offers several parking options with affordable day tickets. We particularly recommend car park P4 at the municipal depot/recycling centre, where you will find the largest number of spaces and can start your outing in a relaxed manner. Another excellent option is car park P1 at the sports ground, which is also easily accessible and generously laid out.
Both car parks are located outside the village centre, allowing you to park conveniently without having to drive into the inner area.
From both locations, a pleasant walk of approximately 10–15 minutes leads directly to the entrance of the Wolfsklamm.
Arrival by bus or train
ÖBB (Austrian Rail) regional trains stop directly at Stans station. The Wolfsklamm Gorge is only a leisurely stroll away.
Public bus services also take you to the region of Stans in Tyrol.
