MAY 1st - OCT. 31st | 9.00 - 16.00 hrs.

Rules & Notes

To protect the health of our visitors and our employees, the following rules must be observed:

1) Keep your distance

Please keep the prescribed distances when waiting at the cash desk - pay attention to the existing floor markings. We apologize for any waiting times.

2) One-direction regulation

The Wolfsklamm is only accessible uphill this year! It is not possible to hike down the valley because the narrow distances mean that the prescribed distances cannot be maintained! An infringement will be reported immediately according to the current legal situation. For the return trip to Stans, the circular hiking trails (to the west) via Weng and the Stans toboggan run, as well as a hike along the Kirchfahrterweg (to the east) towards Stans are available. The path to Tratzberg Castle is also recommended for persistent hikers. During the hike through the gorge we ask "faster" hikers to be patient when "overtaking". Please use the widening in the gorge to keep the necessary safety distances.

3) Contactless payment

In order to avoid unnecessary contacts, we are now offering cashless payment at the cash desk, and we ask you to pay cashless if possible.

4) Sanitary areas

A new toilet container will be available at the cash desk. The next toilet is located at the pilgrimage inn St. Georgenberg.

5) Hospitality

The inns will open on May 15th, 2020. In the valley, the restaurants "Das Marschall", "Der Brandstetterhof", self-service restaurant "Steiner" and the restaurant "Da Capo" (at the sports field) are waiting for you too. The “Schlosswirt Tratzberg” (below the castle) would also be very happy to welcome you. We kindly ask you to pay attention to the notes regarding the applicable Covid-19 guidelines. However, mouth-nose protection when entering the restaurants and when visiting the toilet facilities is currently mandatory!
